1st Woodley Cubs: Weather Record Sheet (Science Badge)

Please complete the weather sheet for the next 2 weeks, and record the weather in the morning and afternoon as well as the rainfall (this is explained below).
There is also space to add any other interesting weather information, like strong winds or frost.
First you need to design your key. The key will explain which symbol goes with which type of weather.
How to record rainfall
You will need: a 2litre drinks bottle and a ruler
Cut the top off the bottle so there is a large opening to catch the rainfall and that the curved part at the top has been completely removed, and then on a day
when it has rained put the ruler alongside the bottle to measure how much rain has fallen. Write the number on your sheet and remember to empty the bottle!
