Vocabulary Activities: Nothing But the Truth
1.
Sort the vocabulary words into logical categories such as descriptions, action,
educational words, and teenage expressions. Add more categories if needed. Each
word must be included in a category.
2. Write an alternate ending or sequel to Nothing But the Truth. The ending or sequel
should be at least one full page (front and back). Do not double-space. Use at least
half of the vocabulary words in your sequel. Highlight the words that you use.
It will be necessary for you to look up the definitions of any words you are not
familiar with so that you can use them correctly. You can also use context clues in
each chapter to help you determine what the words mean. Also, if you do not know
the part of speech of a word, look it up so that you can use it correctly in the ending
or sequel. Be creative and put some time and effort into your ending or sequel.
