CAREER PLAN
My interests have guided me to a culmination of experience that is well suited to many management and technical disciplines including Engineering Management,
Network Management, Data Security Specialist, Project Management, Systems Analysis, Systems Engineering and Software Design. Given all of the appropriate
technical data I can trace a bit through anything; software or hardware. I have experience motivating and guiding technically oriented people. I have been directly
responsible to Air Force, High Level Management at Vandenberg AFB for the Vandenberg Electronic Security System (VESS) and was in the position to personally
answer to the Wing Commander. I'm very good at identifying deficiencies in systems, identifying new technologies that will improve system performance and
implementing those technologies. My numerous strengths and abilities will be a tremendous asset to your organization. My goals are to develop new lines of business
for a corporation/organization that will strengthen and build on the existing infrastructure. I offer a strong technical background with emphasis in Network
Management, Electronic Data Security, Internet/Intranet Technology Development and numerous digital communications methods in general. Recent projects include
the implementation of launch support resources using prolific Ethernet resources available to enhance the capabilities and reduce the cost of remote equipment alarm
monitoring, distribution of discrete control signals and Ethernet video and a virtual launch control room. Another project for the implementation of an audio/video
streaming system earned me recognition of the "American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics" as "Project of the Year" (February 19, 2003) which was presented
by the Air Force at National Engineers Week 2003. I look forward to bringing my collection of skills to your organization.

EMPLOYMENT SUMMARY DETAILS
WROCI - Northrop Grumman
* Review emerging technologies and assist Engineering to implement those technologies where they can benefit our customer and/or improve the work processes of our
team.
* Rebuild Engineering processes to support the requirements of several integrated contracts.
* Support Engineering, Launch Communications Supervisor
MCA Engineers, Inc.
* Review emerging technologies and assist Engineering to implement those technologies where they can benefit our customer and/or improve the work processes of our
team.
* Implemented audio/video streaming technology as an alternate method to distributing audio and video feeds from various launch facilities. For this project achieved
recognition for "Project of the Year 2003" by the "American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics."
* Reviewing technologies to bring remote alarms and discrete control signals to the VAFB intranet.
* Install a complete network for MCA Engineers, Inc., to support the Launch Communications Contract (LCC) from workstation to server and implement the new
network, with data security considerations, as a component of the Vandenberg AFB Domain.
* Implement new Logistics Management software to replace an older failed system.
* Act as Information Systems Manager providing Administration, Engineering, Configuration Control and Logistics support on 45 MS Windows NT workstations, 1
MS Windows NT servers loaded with MS SQL Server. I also recommend and implement work process improvements in direct support of the Engineering department
on the Vandenberg, LCC formerly the Launch Support Services Contract (LSSC).
* Implement the Logistics Inventory Control System; DataStream, MP-2 SQL and convert the existing data to the new system for the LCC.
* Assist with configuration of a new server for MCA Engineers, Inc., to support the Launch Operations and Support Contract (LO&SC) including configuration of the
new Logistics Management software.
* Convert the logistics Inventory Control System; DataStream, MP-2 Access to the SQL version for the LO&SC contract.
Akima Corp.
* Information Systems Manager providing Administration, Engineering, Configuration Control and Logistics support on 42 MS Windows NT workstations, 4 MS
Windows NT servers and MS Exchange Server. Also recommended and implemented work process improvements in direct support of the Engineering department.
* Systems Engineer on Vandenberg, Launch Support Services Contract (LSSC).
Dynamic Science, Inc. (DSI)
* Manager & Project Engineer responsible to Vandenberg AFB, senior level management for Vandenberg Electronic Security System (VESS) a significant portion of
our contract. Since VESS was new to DSI, I assisted DSI to migrate VESS practices into existing company policies and procedures, and training programs. I also wrote
proposals and technical design specifications and directed other Engineers writing technical design specifications to expand the capabilities and fault tolerance of the
VESS.
* Systems Engineer on Vandenberg, Launch Support Services Contract (LSSC).
Lockheed Martin Technical Operations (LMTO)
* Systems Analyst providing technical support of the Payload Access Control and Intrusion Detection System (PACIDS) & VESS Security Systems and development
services for the Visitor Information Control System (VICS) a badging system, both in direct support of the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO).
* Received "Process Improvement Awards" for improvements to the PACIDS & VESS Security Systems.
Quintron Systems, Inc.
* Systems Engineer supporting LSSC by creating technical design specifications to meet military requirements for the installation of digital multiplexing, switching,
sampling, summation and area warning equipment, voice recording, IRIG time keeping devices, fiber optics, and other integrated systems at military; space, sub-orbital
and commercial launch complexes.
* Make process improvement recommendations for a comprehensive change to the method of documentation of constantly changing system configurations. This
method was first used in my own project, a sub-orbital launch support installation. It was subsequently adopted in more complicated space launch complex installations
at Vandenberg AFB and continues to be used by the "follow-on" contractor.
* Assist in the resolution of unique problems such as the isolation of the effects of low bandwidth fiber optic equipment on high data rate digital signals passing out of a
secure environment.
* Provided a detailed recommendations for the replacement of an obsolete computer with a cheaper and more functional PC to be the new integrated controller of
"DICES I." Provided technical and "human interface" advice for the implementation of the software. All of my proposals were eventually implemented. The resulting
software was made operational and influenced future generations of "DICES" equipment.
* Launch Support Communications Technician providing direct Engineering support to solve problems on DoD Research and development, digital communications
projects in support of LSSC. Design and build devices to efficiently aid in the resolution of problems in the daily operational environment. Perform engineering level
problem identification and correction for digital status and alert devices in a "crash net" configuration.
* Maintain digital multiplexing, digital switching, digital sampling, digital communications, voice recording, and time keeping devices, fiber optics, area warning and
other integrated systems at military launch (space and sub-orbital) and commercial launch complexes.
EDUCATION
Chapman University
* Completed 69 Unit Hours, 241 Grade Points, with 3.5 GPA (4.0 system) towards a BS in Computer Science. (Units do not include transferable units from Allan
Hancock). Only six general education requirements remain for completion of this degree. This college degree was sidelined at the needs of the company. The unusual
nature of our schedule (LMTO) prevented me from attending classes at the Chapman Extension Campus. Following this, numerous contract transitions made it difficult
and a decreasing priority to complete this degree.
Allan Hancock College
* Completed 31 Unit Hours, 106 Grade Points, with a 3.4 GPA (4.0 system).
* Certified "Aerospace Electronic Technician." Certification date: 27 Jul. 1984
