Degree in MBBS with Msc
OBS/GYN Background
3 years experience in a busy
hospital particular INGOS.
Valid practicing license and
recognized by the MOH Somalia.

Diploma in pharmacy from a
recognized institution
3 years experience in
pharmaceutical company, institution
or INGOS.
Diploma in Laboratory from a
recognized institution.
3 years experience in Lab
Technicians preferably INGOS.
Qualifications and Skills:






Masters in Socialogy, Political
Science or Undergraduate degree
holder.
Be knowledgeable about the local
community.
Be available all the time and
willing to work evenings and
weekends when required
Possess good administration and IT
skills
Be professional and calm under
pressure
Have sensitivity to working with
older or younger people and
understanding of their needs while
maintaining dignity.
Basic Responsibilities (But not limited to)







Daily review of clients both maternal/neonatal related illnesses
Able to detect high risk and emergencies and initiate prompt treatment
Able to conduct delivery both safe or complicated ones
Can handle both neonates and pregnancies related illnesses
Supervise staff and ensure report on time
Experience in critical care (preferred)
Able to work with minimal supervision

Ensure confidentiality and observe ethics in all cases reported and
diagnosed






Able to carry out daily stock of medicines
Able to account for weekly, monthly consumption
Ensure drugs are stored safely and in optimum temperature
Arrange the medical store and provide updates on inventory list
Keep records of detailed medicine and medical items
Analytical flow in FIFO

Able to conduct routine tests

Able to do antenatal profile

Knowledge on safe and protective practices

Able to report appropriately and precise on the specimen

Ensure confidentiality and observe ethics in all cases reported and
diagnosed.
Position Summary
The position reports directly to the Country Director Inclusion & Diversity and
requires the provision of high level internal consultancy to the organization to
help facilitate the provision of culturally appropriate services and improved
community engagement. Liaison Officer must have completed a comprehensive
audit of its services and culture to significantly improve its engagement of,
relevance to and commitment to the communities and clients. Liaison Officer is
committed to provide ongoing support to sustain and extend improvements that
are achieved. Key roles undertaken by the Liaison Officer will involve internal and
external consultation, project management, input to policy and procedure
development, representation of the agency in relevant forums and the
coordination, or delivery of training. Highly developed skills in organizational
development projects and the ability to work at all levels are critical to this role.
Admin Officer(1 position)
Required qualifications:

Undergraduate degree holder,
Graduate degree a plus.

2+ years as an Administrative
Officer positions.

Self‐motivated,detail‐oriented
And can juggle multiple projects at
once.

Strong command of written and
spoken English

Strong knowledge of Microsoft
Word, Excel

And Power Point.


Duties and Responsibilities:
Islamic Relief Somalia Programme are seeking an Administrative Officer that will
Assistant and Support the Liaison Officer as well the Team Will be working
together Technically under the OIC and financially will cater for Islamic relief
The candidate will oversee the personal administrative details of the
SDC Agency the Founder this programme as well as attend to the daily office
Administrative work of OIC.
Provide General Office Administrative Management:
• Undertake records management for shared office.
• Act as main point person for outside vendor relationship as it pertains to daily
office management
• Coordinate maintenance of office and standard office equipment
• Anticipate, maintain and purchase office supplies
• Develop needed administrative systems, such as conference room bookings,
reimbursements, office‐wide record maintenance to ensure smooth operations
of general office needs.
• Work with relevant government agencies to process and secure needed visas
And work permit application and approval.
• Review and update health and safety policies as dictated by relevant
Somalia government agencies and ensure they are observe office‐wide.
