Program
If you’re considering an undergraduate Nursing degree,
joining Army ROTC can enhance your leadership skills
and critical-thinking abilities while providing financial
support to help make your professional goals a reality.
Becoming a Nurse in the Army will provide you with
many opportunities that are not found in the civilian world.
As an Army Nurse and Officer, you will have the respect
of your peers and coworkers, as well as opportunities to
train and serve in a variety of specialties.
Army ROTC can offer you unique nursing opportunities
while receiving financial assistance for college. You will
gain valuable leadership experience and management

Enrolling in the Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps
(ROTC) may be the smartest decision you can make. Army
ROTC offers opportunities and challenges that can put
you on the fast track to success in life. You’ll develop the
confidence, self-esteem, motivation and leadership skills
you’ll need regardless of your career plans. The qualities
that ROTC training instills will be vital to a productive
and rewarding future.
Army ROTC is an elective course that provides a
combination of academics and important hands-on
training. You’ll be offered physical and mental challenges
geared to help you succeed in college and beyond. You will
learn teamwork and be given responsibilities like teaching
younger cadets the same skills you have learned.
For its many benefits, Army ROTC requires only a
few hours a week. So it won’t interfere with your required
college curriculum or social life. In fact, you’ll find ROTC
a great place to form lasting friendships.
Leadership, personal growth, responsibility, practical
experience, and management training: They are essential
to success in college and in your career. And they are just
some of the benefits you’ll gain in Army ROTC.
In addition to on-campus training, Army ROTC offers
adventure training, including Airborne School and Air
Assault School. Army ROTC also provides students with
a variety of social and professional activities. If you want
to build a solid and well-rounded future, then take a closer
look at Army ROTC.

Leadership That Lasts A Lifetime
Who We’re Looking For
Army ROTC is an elective curriculum you take along
with your required college classes. It gives you the tools,
training, and experiences that will help you succeed in
any competitive environment. Along with great leadership
training, Army ROTC can pay for your college tuition.
Because Army ROTC is an elective, you can participate
your freshman and sophomore years without any obligation
to join the Army. You will have a normal college student
experience like everyone else on campus. However, when
you graduate, you will be commissioned as an Officer in the
Army. At that point, you will have a wide range of interest
areas you can specialize in called branches.
Those who succeed in the Army ROTC program are
students who excel and want something more out of the college
experience. Generally, these students are scholars who keep
their grades up, athletes who are physically strong, and leaders
who have a great desire to learn.
