Applied Informatics
The Bachelor’s degree branch of study - Applied Informatics gives future
professionals the capability to apply modern information technologies in solving
complex problems at various levels of management. Graduates will be able to
source, critically evaluate, process and actively utilize information on macroand micro-economic phenomena and processes. They will be able to adapt to
new developments in the field, and their skills in using modern computer
technologies will ensure that they will be able to compete on both the domestic
and European job markets. Graduates will find employment especially as
specialists in the application and use of computer technology and modern
information technologies in carrying out economic tasks.
The branch of study is taught only in Czech.

Systems Engineering and Informatics
The Bachelor’s degree branch of study – Systems Engineering and
Informatics equips graduates with skills for using systemic approaches and
modelling, as well as developing the ability to apply modern computer
technology. Graduates will be capable of solving partial management problems
in various sectors of the economy with regard to the objectives and the necessity
for efficient economic development in market conditions. Graduates will be
capable of creatively managing the development of systems and applications
software, communicating with users, and managing the operation and
maintenance of software, as well as working in project management and as
organizational employees.

Informatics in Economy
The Bachelor’s degree branch of study – Informatics in Economy
The Informatics in Economy is designed as a multidisciplinary bachelor field of
study. The main focus is on the economic disciplines and computer science and
the ability to apply this knowledge in organizations and institutions. An attention
is also focused on the principles of working with data and information.
A graduate is able to apply information technology to companies and
institutions.
