How do I proceed? Let me tell you: First Assignments: One assignment is to complete the Syllabus Acknowledgement and return to your instructor via file exchange (not emailed, not dropped off at the office…file exchange). No exceptions! If I do not receive the syllabus acknowledgement by the due date, you will be dropped from the course and considered a No-Show. Your second assignment is to introduce yourself to the class. Click on the Collaboration tab, student introduction folder, and answer the questions I have asked. Then you will move on to the remaining assignments in this fashion Read through each chapter first without completing any steps. After reading through the chapter, start at the beginning of the chapter and work through the chapter completing all steps. Read through the Procedure Review at the end of the chapter. Then complete Key Concepts assignment on our course site by the due date/time. Next, you need to complete the online interactive quiz for each chapter. The link for the quiz is provided under the each chapter assignment. Make sure that when you click on the link that you are at the 2013 textbook website. I have had some issues with the link going to the older version of the textbook instead of the new 2013 version. You will email your quiz results to me mailto:jangel@northark.edu Next, complete case problems #1 and #2 if they are assigned. There are printouts with each case problem. You do not need to submit any hard printouts to your instructor! Instead, you will submit an electronic copy of the printouts/reports associated with the case problems to the portal. These will be submitted as PDF files to your instructor. Instructions are given in the chapter when you get ready to create the printouts/reports. The best way to submit the printouts will be to display the requested report, then click on “File” “Save As” and save the file as a .pdf I would suggest you make a Computerized Accounting folder on your computer with chapter subfolders. Then save the separate chapter .pdf reports in that chapter’s folder. Then you can upload your .pdf files to me in the appropriate chapter assignment on our course site. Make sure you upload all files before you “Submit as Final.” The first chapter does not have any printouts, only key concepts that will need to be submitted and the Interactive Quiz that will be emailed. All due dates will be strictly enforced.
