Torch Night 2012
For years, the upper-class women at the Florida State College for Women welcomed
the incoming class of students by passing the torch of high academic and leadership
standards at the prestigious and dignified Torch Night. Today, 100 incoming students are
selected based on their leadership experiences prior to coming to FSU. Torch Night
representatives will be honored for their achievements and will receive information about
leadership opportunities throughout their college career.
Those wishing to be considered as a representatives of the 2012 incoming FSU
class should complete the application and return it with a $5 application fee (checks can be
made payable to Garnet & Gold Key) by Friday, September 21, 2012, to the Student
Government Association office located on the second floor of the union. Any questions can
be directed to Harrison Dubosar, Vice President of Activities, at hrd09c@my.fsu.edu.
