The 4th (2012) International Conference on FRCFM
Distinguished Specialists and Scholars,
The 4th (2012) International Conference on Financial Risks and Corporate Financial
Management", launched by Faculty of Management and Economics of Dalian University of
Technology and sponsored jointly by DUT, China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, Bank of
Dalian and China Interdisciplinary Science Association Financial Econometrics and
Mathematics Committee, will be held at DUT from 7 July to 8 July, 2012.
The 1st(2009), 2nd(2010) and 3rd(2011) International Conference on Financial Risks and
Corporate Finance Management received energetic support from institutions and academic
schools, such as Ministry of Education, National Natural Science Foundation of China, China
Postdoctoral Science Foundation, China Interdisciplinary Science Association and
Postdoctoral Research Station of Bank of Dalian, and domestic and overseas specialists and
scholars. Our proceedings have been indexed by CPCI (originally called ISTP) from 2010,
and have been indexed by CNKI from 2011, and documented by academic institutions and
libraries such as The Australian National University, Institute of Scientific and Technical
Information of China, Hong Kong University, Tsinghua University, Remin University of
China, Nankai University, Xiamen University, Zhejiang University, Wuhan University,
Zhongshan University, Shandong University, Sichuan University, Northeastern University,
Dongbei University of Finance and Economics, etc. The success of the 1st and 2nd
conferences promoted the exchanges of ideas studying on financial risks and corporate
finance management, expanded the vision of modern theory of finance, and provided an
excellent opportunity for intercommunication and in-depth discussion among experts in
finance.
This conference will appoint Professor Wu Yangru, an eminent expert in finance at Rutgers,
the State University of New Jersey, USA, as director of academic committee, appoint
Professor Peng Long of Beijing Foreign Studies University as organizing committee honorary
chairman, and appoint Professor Li Yanxi of School of Economics, Dalian University of
Technology, as organizing committee chairman. Specialists and researchers in financial risks
and corporate finance management and scholars in fields concerned are expected to attend the
conference. Representatives of domestic financial institutions (commercial banks, future
companies, and securities agencies), and senior financial executives in established enterprises
will also attend.
On behalf of the membership of this conference's academic committee and organizing
committee, and Faculty of Management and Economics of DUT, we would like to extend our
earnest welcome to your coming. With the support and assistance of you, we hope to see the
advancement of research on financial risk management through the exchange and
co-operation platform provided by this conference, and valuable suggestions on your
academic study.
The conference will continue publishing《The Proceedings of The 4th (2012)International
Conference on Financial Risks and Corporate Finance Management 》 which welcomes
contributions in reference to research issues and share of research achievements. The
proceedings will be indexed by CPCI (originally called ISTP) and CNKI. The particulars are

FRCFM will be held from 6 July- 8 July 2012 at Dalian University of Technology, Dalian,
China.
