Then, please summarize the main points concerning the partner organizations, the two project phases
and the tasks of the participants. This is the description the candidates will read in the online
programme catalogue. The text must be understandable and clearly formulated. For this, please keep
the following structure

Please remember that the two five-day ASA training seminars take place during this phase, in
April and in June. The North and South participants take part in the seminars together.
4.1 How is the North phase of the project integrated in the work of the partner organization in
Germany?
4.2 What does the partner organization in Germany expect from the participants? In which tasks
could the participants be involved during the North phase? (Be careful not to overload the
participants with work during the North phase, to give them enough space for intercultural
learning and to propose them feasible activities, in which they can all 4 take part together as
a team.)

Africa/Asia/Southeast Europe during the North phase. Please describe the planned event
shortly.

5. Information concerning the project phase in Africa/Asia/Southeast Europe (South phase,
three-month period between July and December 2010)
5.1 How is the South phase of the project integrated in the work of the partner organization in
Africa/Asia/Southeast Europe?
5.2 What does the partner organization in Africa/Asia/Southeast Europe expect from the
participants? In which tasks could the participants be involved during the South phase?
When planning the participants' tasks, please note that there is a nine-month-period of time
between the project proposal (September 2009) and the beginning of the project (JulyDecember 2010). Therefore, please describe in your project proposal a possible scope of
duties, with which the participants can cope during their stay. Also, please specify which skills
are needed. The ASA-Programme will base itself on these facts to choose the participants
from Germany for your project. After the participants' selection phase, in March 2010, please
concretize the tasks together with the participants.

We agree to cooperate with the ASA-Program of the InWEnt gGmbh within the proposed project and
will supervise the participants chosen and sent to us by the ASA-Programme.

 appointing a contact person from our organization as mentor for the ASA participants
 coordinating the project planning during the preparatory phase together with the ASA participants
(among others, book flights for the participants from the South)
 helping the participants with orientation in their new environment (for example by helping them find
accommodation)
