Research
earth tides: analysis of earth tidal anomalies near crustal faults and cavities, long term stability of earth
tidal parameters.
analysis of environmental noise: investigation of physics of seismic noise in horizontal components,
study of poroelastic deformation of the ground due to infiltration of water and effects on tilt
measurements and seismicity
geodynamical analyses: interpretation of tilt measurements along crustal fault and volcanoes, 3D
numerical modelling of the deformation of Merapi Volcano due to internal and external forces, recent
crustal movements in the Upper Rhine Graben Area (EUCOR-URGENT), detection of ground
movements by InSAR (Dead Sea) and integration of InSAR observations into the geodetic deformation
analysis.
