112. Carlos Island Military Cemetery, Operation Flintlock, Marshal Islands,
deceased from the operation on Kwajalein were transported to this
Cemetery by Defense Battalion 4, personnel of the 604 QM GR CO
were attached to the 7th Infantry Division and 106 RCT, 27 Infantry
Division, to augment Division GR personnel.
113. US Military Cemetery, Ladyslett Island, deceased military personnel
from the battle for Eniwetok were evacuated six miles over water to this
cemetery, 106 RCT and the Marines, personnel from the 604 QM GR
CO and GR personnel fron the 106 RCT and Marines, did an
outstanding job, they had only 6 unidentified deceased.
114. US Marine Cemetery, Saipan, 44 remains of the 27th Infantry Division
were buried in this Marine Corps Cemetery, using Division GR Men.
