Hints on how to keep up with your home reading program.
Try to set a consistent time each day to complete this task.
Allow approximately 25 minutes for reading and 5 minutes for writing the summary.
You could try doing the reading before you go to bed and then write the summary in the morning.
Make sure you find a book that is not too difficult or too easy.
Ensure that you pick a book you think you will enjoy.
Read in an environment free of distractions (turn the TV off or music off)
Keep a notepad handy to jot down things as you are reading that you
wish to include in your summary.
