Dear Club Members,
Welcome to our 2014 summer ice season. Included in this package is your membership application and contract,
policies, ice schedule, registration information, ice application form and your service hour form. Note service hour
Requirement is now 40 service hours.
THIS SUMMER:
UNLIMITED ICE –DAYTIME ONLY
Purchase up to 12 hours of ice for only $459
NEW: SUMMER INITIATIVE
COMPETITIVE PACKAGE
Available on Monday and Wednesday evening
(this is NOT included in Unlimited ice pricebut is available for all skaters to purchase separately.
SUMMER INITIATIVE COMPETITIVE PACKAGE
This package is only available for seven (7) weeks – June 16 to July 30, 2014
This package is open to all skaters, both club and basic skills to purchase.
The package price is $249.00
The package includes the following:
Monday and Wednesday ice sessions from 5:35 to 6:25pm.
Monday 6:35-7:00 pm. Enrichment class on ice: Alternate different skating techniques such
as stroking, edges, etc.
Monday 7:00-7:25pm. Skaters may practice on ½ ice surface
Wednesday: 6:35-7:00 - Off-Ice Session
The ice surface “only” on Monday and Wednesday evening, may also be purchased
separately, you are not required to purchase the package. The evening ice is also available
At the “Drop In” rate of $17.00 per ice session.
MEMBERSHIP AND SUMMER ICE:

IF YOU WANT TO REGISTER IN PERSON, OR FOR NEW CLUB MEMBERSHIP,
REGISTRATION IS THURSDAY, JUNE 12 FROM 5:45 TO 6:15 PM.
*MEMBERSHIP FEE MUST BE PAID IN FULL with a separate check
and returned with the SIGNED membership contract before ice can be contracted.
*DUE TO USFS RESTRICTIONS, SKATERS WHOSE MEMBERSHIPS ARE NOT PAID IN FULL BY JUNE 16,
2014 WILL HAVE ALL CLUB PRIVILEGES SUSPENDED UNTIL FULL PAYMENT IS RECEIVED.
(To
accommodate for processing time and to insure uninterrupted club/ice privileges, please pay your membership in full
by the June 12 deadline.)
*30% Deposit is due with summer ice application, payable to FFSC, due June 12.
Remaining balance will be divided equally into two additional payments.
JULY 1, 2014 - *2nd Ice payment due ---- JULY 31, 2014 - *3rd Ice payment due
*LATE
FEE OF $25.00 WILL BE CHARGED FOR ALL ICE
PAYMENTS NOT RECEIVED BY THE DUE DATE. A five day grace period will
be allowed (July 6 deadline, August 5 deadline. If not received by these dates, add $25.00 to your ice
contract for each month late). FULL PAYMENT REQUIRED BY AUGUST 5, 2014
*NO REFUNDS OF DEPOSITS OR PAYMENTS- Your deposit is forfeited if you cancel ice prior to June 12,
2014 deadline. After June 12 you will be responsible for the remaining 70% of your ice contract. Any
member not making these payments will be considered a member in bad standing with the FFSC as well
as USFS. You will be denied all Club privileges, including ice, testing, competition, show privileges, etc.
NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!!
*We reserve the right to dismiss (with no refunds) anyone who refuses to obey the rules set down by the arena and/or
the FFSC.
*We reserve the right to cancel, change, or reschedule any ice surface after registration. NO REFUNDS OF ICE.
“SKATER WILL NOT BE ALLOWED ON ICE IF FEES ARE NOT PAID, THIS INCLUDES MEMBERSHIP FEE.

*”DROP IN” ICE WILL BE $17.00 SESSION.
ALL SKATERS MUST CHECK IN AND PAY “DROP IN” FEE WITH THE ICE MONITOR, if not available,
check in and pay “Drop In” fee to our director, MEL CHAPMAN BEFORE ENTERING THE ICE.
THE “DROP IN” FEE MUST BE PAID
BEFORE SKATING ON THE ICE.
Ice is available first come basis and skaters are not allowed on the ice until they pay the fee first.
*Please let Mel know in advance if you will be late, on vacation, or absent.
PARENTS & SKATERS:
FFSC code of conduct is currently under review to help promote a safe, supportive, positive environment.
As soon as approved, will be e-mailed to membership.
*BE RESPECTFUL TO EVERYONE,
THIS INCLUDES THE SKATERS AND COACHES.
ICE QUALIFICATIONS:
ALL SESSIONS ARE “GENERAL” Any USFS Club skater, Junior Club Skater,
Skaters passed Basic 5 and above (MUST BE BASIC SKILL MEMBER)
ALL SESSIONS: SKATERS ARE ALLOWED TO SKATE MIF AND DANCE.
*Test date will be determined during the season and will be posted. (no coupons are issued for test date)
*Summer ice sold by seniority:
1)
All First Club Members by Seniority
2)
All Second Club Members by Seniority
3)
All FFSC Basic Skill and out of club skaters (registration on June 12 between 5:45-6:15pm.)
4)
Registration received after June 12, in the order received.
NEW MEMBERSHIP, BASIC SKILL, AND NON-CLUB MEMBERS:

The request from the rink, skaters bringing food or drink into the rink, please eat in the locker room and please clean
up after yourself. You will not be allowed to eat your food or drink in the lobby. Thank you.

As our business, notifications and information, is now done by e-mail to our members; it is imperative that you please
notify us if you have an e-mail change or if your e-mail is not available (or down). If you would like an additional
Family member to be added to e-mail list, please e-mail me and I will add your address to our list.
