CLINICAL EXPERIENCE:
Assiut University Hospital is the biggest hospital in Upper Egypt and the third
biggest one in the whole country. It is 1400 bedded hospital. The department of
Chest Diseases consists of 64 beds including inpatients Unit, ICU Respiratory
Unit, Sleep lab Unit, endoscopy, pulmonary function tests, and allergy tests.
During my posts in this department, I have worked as a house officer (2
months), resident (3 years), assistant lecturer (7 years), and a lecturer (till now).
I handled confidently all tasks in the outpatient clinic, hospital-ward duties, and
management of emergency cases. Also, I participated actively in all scientific
activities including seminars, conferences and workshops.
TEACHING EXPERIENCES:
Assistant lecturer for 7 years, lecturer for 5 years; assistant professor for 5 years
with teaching clinical rounds and lectures to the undergraduate medical students
(4th, 5th and 6th grades) in Assiut University.
Professor of Chest Diseases up tills now with undergraduate and graduate
student teaching.
