Saint Wenceslaus Church - Spillville, Iowa
Admission at the door: $10 adult, $5 student, K-12 free with paid adult
The band and the various ensembles have played throughout Europe, Asia and
North America, including Carnegie Hall.
The principle duties of the band and ensembles are to accompany state ceremonies,
ambassador visits and receptions with the President of the Czech Republic.
The concert program includes a selection of easy to listen to compositions by
Dvorak, Smetana, Mozart and other famous composers - and the ever popular Skoda
Lasky (Beer Barrel Polka).
Accompanying the Trio in select pieces will be a Czech Bagpipe (dudy) player and a
Czech folklorist.
