Professor David Muh-Cherng Wu is a Professor of Industrial Engineering and Management at National
Chiao Tung University, Hsinchu, Taiwan. He received his PhD in Industrial Engineering from Purdue
University in 1988. His research interests include computer integrated manufacturing, supply chain
management, and strategic analysis of high-tech industry. He is currently the board member of the Asia
Pacific Industrial Engineering and Management Society (APIEMS) and the board member of the Chinese
Institute of Industrial Engineers (CIIE), and the board member of Promise Technology Inc.
