Did not work in a clinical setting between 9/05/05 until 7/12/10 but was actively engaged in CME
activities as well as providing non-compensated care to a regular stream of patients requesting
advice or second opinions. I took the Pediatric Review course in 2007 for 37.5 CME hours. I
have received approximately 220 CME hours in the UpToDate System since 2007 and earned
200 hours in the online Challenger course in Pediatrics 12/1/09-6/26/10.

A small team created a parallel sister hospital /sister Rotary club relationship between Hawaii
and Cebu, Philippines. The result has been a forty-foot container and a 20 foot container filled
with donated medical equipment have been sent to Cebu. In addition, we have brought large
amounts of medication to Cebu, arranged surgery for difficult cases in the US, outfitted a
pediatric ICU, brought consulting physicians to Cebu, acted as the catalyst for a new pediatric
ward in a hospital for the Indigent, and hopefully created great good will in both locations.
Team member of Aloha Medical Missions serving as the sole pediatrician in an International
Medical Care Clinic in Indonesia after the Tsunami.
