Egypt ABC Book Project
DUE MONDAY, MAY 5TH!!!
In class you will create an alphabet book for our Ancient Egypt unit. For this project, you will create a book with each
page having a letter of the alphabet on it. For each letter, A-Z, you will come up with a word or phrase from this unit
that goes with that letter. Write 3 complete sentences using that word. You will illustrate or find pictures from the
internet for each of these pages. Each page should include a large letter from the alphabet that is colored and/or
decorated, THREE sentences relating to Ancient Egypt and page number. Each letter must be about a different aspect
of Ancient Egypt. You may only have 3 words per topic. Topics are listed on the back. An extra 5 “WOW” points can
be added to your project grade for going beyond the listed expectations and doing exceptional work. (Grounds for
“wow” points could be, but are not limited to, using images from magazines, using paint or glitter, or anything else
that makes me say “WOW!”) You will be given 3 days of class time to work on this but you may need to do some
work at home. All necessary materials will be provided but you may bring your own. This is due Monday, May 5th!!!
For example:
