This week, the Reception children have chosen a book to share at home from our class
book corner. Children are free to swap the book when they are ready to change it (when
your child comes into school in the morning is an ideal time to do this). Please record the
date, book title and sign your initials to say you have read with your child in the purple
Reading Log (in their zip bag). You may also wish to comment on whether your child
enjoyed the book and what they said about it. If you share one of your own books from
home or public library, please do add this to the Reading Log, as it is important to
encourage a wide reading experience, not just what your child reads at school.
House points are given for each time your child shares a book (up to a maximum of 5 a
