Medal of Honor Recipient Harvey Barney Barnum (USMC-Vietnam) speaks to a crowd at the Reston Region Library in Virginia, and then autographs copies of the
new book Medal of Honor-Portraits of Valor Beyond the Call of Duty. The book by Peter Collier and Nick Del Calzo was released on Veterans Day 2004, and
features photos and stories of 116 of the living recipients of the Medal of Honor. Release of the book was followed by weeks of personal public appearances by the
recipients featured, at libraries and bookstores around the nation.
