Convection Currents
Purpose: To create a model of convection currents.
Materials:
1 Plastic Tub
4 Empty Styrofoam Cup
Food dye
Dropper
1 Styrofoam Cup w/Hot Water
Hypothesis:

Procedure:
1. Place plastic bin on the Styrofoam cups so
it is stable.
2. Place cup with hot water below the middle
of the bin
3. Place a drop of food dye directly above heat
source (red) and one near the side (blue).
