SP2 is a 6-year project
The objective is to develop tools to support integration and consensus building among
stakeholders
SP2 will develop tools to map land-use change and its flow-on effects on social, cultural,
economic and environmental well-being
The project will provide the Auckland and Wellington regions with scenario tools for
transition pathways over the next 30-50 years
The first phase of the mediated modelling has been completed for the Greater Wellington region.
A proto type systems dynamic model Greater Wellington Mediated Model is available and the
Post-report supporting Action Research and Integrated Assessment for the Wellington Region
Mediated Modelling is online. This report details the mediated modelling process, the model
building process with stakeholders and the final model produced.
Auckland Council Mediated Modelling Workshops have been held. A proto type system
dynamics model that you can run is now at: Auckland Council Mediated Model.
A post-report supporting Action Research and Integrated Assessment for the Auckland Region
Mediated Modelling is online. This report details the mediated modelling process, the model
buidling process with stakeholders and the final model produced.
The SP2 project is listed with others on the Envirolink Decision Support Systems Directory. This
directory contains a range of relevant models and systems that have been developed or used in
New Zealand for supporting decision making. The Decision Support Web Directory Final Report
(January 2013) is also available. FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) about the SP2 project are
available to answer your questions.
