Areas of interest: Spine surgery mostly complex spinal fusions: pedicle screws,
anterior instrumentation, cervical anterior instrumentation. Craniovertebral
junction anomalies including transoral, trans-odontoid screw, C1-C2 screw,
complex posterior fixations. Epilepsy surgery: Surgeon in charge of the
comprehensive epilepsy surgery program.
Neuroendoscopy: Started
Neuroendoscopy since 1999: for colloid cysts, endoscopic third
ventriculostomies, arahnoid cysts, tumor biopsies, endoscopic carpal tunnel
release, Endoscopic hematoma evacuation Vascular surgery; Aneurysms, AVM’s
and cavernomas. Acoustic neurinomas and Brain tumors, Awake Craniotomies,
Craniosysnostosis. Implantable devices: Baclofen pump, artificial disc and Vagal
nerve stimulation.
