CLINICAL ACTIVITIES
Clinical practice
Full-time clinical practice in epilepsy and clinical neurophysiology. Serve one week per month as
inpatient attending for Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, attend at epilepsy surgeries (includes
intraoperative electrocorticography, functional brain mapping, and subdural grids and strips
monitoring); attend on inpatient pediatric neurology service for three weeks per year; staff
approximately 18 resident continuity clinics per year; read weekly outpatient EEG studies; during
epilepsy service weeks read all inpatient EEGs, prolonged video EEGs and electrophysiologic
studies (VEP, BAER, SSEP).
Provide consultation to residents and colleagues regarding intractable epilepsy evaluation and
management.
