to attach the completed reservation form (which is the last page of this document).
Important Information
~If you have affiliation with the College of LSA, there is no charge for using the 3 rd Floor Terrace;
however, if you do not then a $75 per day fee will apply.
~You must provide a short code for any applicable charges (e.g. usage fee, clean-up fee, lost key, etc.).
~You must follow all the rules indicated in this document or you will be charged. Careful review of this
document, along with clear communication to all individuals affiliated with the event, will help to eliminate
charges that could have otherwise been avoided. Please note the fee schedule below.
*Clean-up fee – $75
If additional cleaning is needed after the event, you will be charged $75 per hour at a minimum of 1
hour.
*Room rearrangement fee – $75
If furniture is moved for the event and not returned to its original location, you will be charged a
minimum of $75. If you notice that the room is not in order when you arrive for your event, please
promptly notify psych.saa@umich.edu to ensure that you are not inappropriately charged.
~Permission to serve alcoholic beverages must be obtained from LSA Facilities by contacting Jacqui
Crawford (734-764-0323 or jmflater@umich.edu). Alcoholic beverages are not to be served in the 3rd Floor
Terrace during class or exam periods. Approval of alcoholic beverage service obligates the sponsoring
group to establish controls that preclude serving alcohol to minors and excessive consumption of alcohol by
an individual.
~The 3rd Floor Terrace Kitchen is the only reservable facility for food service in the East Hall. Food should
be limited to snacks and hors d’oeuvres or food that can be served and removed from the Terrace without
significant preparation or cleanup.
~The Psychology Department does not provide furniture or equipment for events. You must make separate
arrangements for furniture, equipment, and/or media equipment. Furniture removal and food clean up
needs to occur promptly at the conclusion of the event.
~ The building will be open from 7am until 7pm without having to use your UMID to get in. From 7pm
until 10pm the building is accessible with your UMID at one of the doors that have the ID card reader (The
main doors at Church Street and also on the other side of the building to the right as you come up the
stairs). Note: Rooms may not be reserved outside valid MCard hours.
