items this Saturday. Buy direct from the producers themselves. You will find baked
breads and desserts, free-range eggs, gourmet frozen foods, handcrafted soaps, local
honey, Gulf shrimp, BarBQ, perennials, purses, jewelry, art and more. Meet your
friends, pick up breakfast and enjoy listening to RALPH MILLER, who will providing
our live music this week.
MARKET BREAKFAST SPECIAL – This week The Greater Belhaven Market will be
featuring Cheese Grits & Salsa (until Joseph returns). Proceeds will benefit, sustain and
maintain the Market.
FLOURS BY CHRIS will be at the Market this week with her delicious home baked
specialties – a variety of breads, rolls and cakes.
FLYING M FARM will have A La Carte limited offerings of certified organic fresh
vegetables and fresh eggs. Place your order now before Charlie sells out of his fall
offering of grassfed lamb scheduled for October 25 delivery. Stop by and visit with
Charlie about Flying M Farm's CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) and also about

LARRY SMITH is a new vendor at the Market this week. Check out what he creates
from ‘vintage’ computers. His computer parts art is sure to interest all of you computer
whizzes.
THE SEAFOOD SHACK will be back with their awesome crab dip, shrimp dip and
smoked salmon dip. They will also have fresh Gulf shrimp by the pound.
HEAVENLY DESIGN BY ROZ plans to be there this Saturday and will be bringing her
original art paintings in acrylic and watercolor. Great cards and a sale on her original
digital print t-shirts. Be the first to order Merry Christmas t-shirts this Saturday at the
Market.
DEBI COX will be at the Market this Saturday with a beautiful assortment of crystal and
ribbon jewelry, unique "design-your-own" watches and adorable cell phone charms. Stop
by for that perfect gift or maybe just something special for yourself.
VICKIE GILBERT will be at the Market with her wonderful and fun painted windows.
Vickie has new paintings every week – no two ever are the same. Stop by and visit with
this classic Southern artist, see her creative talents and hear about her Storybook Cottage!
APRIL SHOWERS SOAPS offers handmade cold processed, full of nature's goodness
for your comfort and pleasure. Special this week...the BOO BAGS are Baaaaaack...odds
and ends of soap samples.
HENRY MUSE will attend this Saturday, and will bring his colorful paintings of Cats,
Birds, Musical Pieces, Couples and Angels. Folks may contact him at his in-home studio

BEETREE MEADOWS will be at the Market this Saturday with a variety of local
wildflower honey and beeswax candles. As always, they will be sampling all of the
honey. Ask about their bees – this animated beekeeper loves his bees and shares the most
interesting facts about his little friends.
PHYLLIS HURLEY will be at the Market this week, in support of UWEC, a non-profit
organization - Uganda Women Empowerment through Crafts. This week Phyllis is
featuring beautiful patchwork aprons and hot pads. Other offerings include circle purses,
hand-made cloth dolls in traditional African dress featuring batik and tie-dye. Also wall
hangings, decorative balls, woven fiber baskets and jewelry made of paper and nuts.
SUZANNA MCMAHAN is a new vendor this Market season. Stop by and visit with
this delightful young woman and see her beautiful jewelry creations. New items every
week!
CAROL JACKSON is a new vendor this Market season and will be bringing knit and
crochet clothing and accessories of the finest quality, not just hats and scarves. No acrylic
yarns, all alpaca, wool, silk, and/or cotton. Hand sewn dresses and purses, custom design
orders welcome.
STUFFINGS will be back this week with a new offering – Crawfish sausage on a stick!
Check out his weekly special featuring one of his delicious Stuffed French Breads. Be
sure and stop by for a sample. Paul will also have his New Orleans style red beans along
with his tasty sweet breads and Italian twist breads. His varied selection of frozen breads
include: spinach and cheese, muffaloaf, crawfish, and shrimp. He also sells his crawfish
sausage packaged for your freezer. His Cinnamon Coffee Cake, Date Nut Cake and
Diabetic Date Nut Cake are awesome!
ELIZABETH ROOT will have a selection of her hearty whole grain breads, the ever
popular Ginger Chewies, crisp toffee biscotti, and homemade cultured "european style"

TONY DAVENPORT, well known local artist, will be at the Market this Saturday and
offering his wonderful original art work. Stop by for a visit and welcome Tony to our
Market.
ALAZAI DESIGNS is a new vendor this Market season and will be back with their
original jewelry creations.
LUMPKIN’S will return to the Market featuring their awesome hickory smoked BarBQ
beef brisket by the pound or on a sandwich. Their Pork Ribs are incredible, too! Stop by
for a sample and a visit with this charming family.
CHARLES JENKINS will return with his whimsical art work. Charley is a noted
southern realism artist of line and color with a focus on pastels, watercolors and colored
wax pencils. This week, he will be bringing his white oak baskets and famous dancing
rabbits and turtles.
ARTILLERY RIDGE GROWERS, will be at the Market this week. Their focus on is
perennials - Hostas, Black Liriope, Evergold Carex, Formosian Lilies, varigated Yucca,
Ferns and more. Shopping is like a garden tour.
