Basic Electrical Engineering Laboratory
1. Network Theorems Trainer Kit:
Specification: Kit must comprise of 3 fixed output DC regulated power supplies of
12 V & 5 V at 250 mA current, 4 moving coil meters, capable of
verifying superposition, Thervenin’s, Nurtoin’s and maximum power
transfer theorems. Circuit diagram for all the 4 theorms printed on the
front panel and connections of supplies, meters, resistances and
potentiometers brought out at 2 mm sockets.
2. Phasor concept study kit:
Specification: Kit must comprise of three basic elements R, L and C having provision
of connecting three in series as well as in parallel. Potentiometer must
be incorporated across the 3 -  supply to vary the voltage. Necessary
Ammeters and Voltmeters connections must be brought out.
3. Measurement of Power in Single phase A.C. circuit kit:
Specification: Kit must comprise of potentiometer, R, L and C. R,L and C are
connected in series. Necessary Ammeter and Voltmeter and power

TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. The rates should quoted against each item as shown in the list in the same
chronological order along with specifications and supporting documents.
2. The quotations for each laboratory equipment should be given in separate covers and
the covers should be superscribed.
3. Quotations should be accompanied by –
(i)
A call deposit (earnest money) amounting to Rs. 5,000/- pledged in favour of
the Registrar, Tezpur University, payable at Tezpur
(ii)
A Demand Draft of Rs. 200/- as tender fee (the amount should not be clubbed
along with the call deposit) in favour of Registrar, Tezpur University, payable
at Tezpur
4. The University is exempted from Custom & Excise Duty.
5. The taxes of each item and terms & conditions should be clearly indicated in the
quotations.
6. The supplier should be in a position to deliver the ordered items within the stipulated
time mentioned in the supply order.
7. Items must be delivered at Napaam Campus of the University at the cost of the
supplier.
8. The rates should be valid at least for a period of one year.
9. The University reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the quotations without
assigning any reason.
10. Unaccepted quotationers will have to apply for release of their call deposit.
