Responsibilities and prospects for a Network Analyst include:
•
An advanced working knowledge of network technologies
•
Juniper certification or similar experience (switches and routers: router-serial, E-Net, Switch-VLAN, wireless)
•
Firewall
Protocols (TCP/IP), ATM, MPLS, Frame relay CAT OS/IOS), Juniper, ISIS, Netscout, VPN’s, Advanced IP Routing (EIGRP/BGP) and
•
Excellent analytical, problem solving skills
•
Good writing skills
•
Adherence to safety policies, security and controls requirements are a must
Secondary Skill Set:
•
Microsoft NT Server/Desktop, QOS, Netscout, 802.1x
There is no “per diem” with this position
