Powers of 10 and 100
Instructions:
1: Roll two 6-sided dice.
2. Write a multiplication equation using both numbers as your factors in the column for Equation of
Digits Rolled.
3. Find the product.
4. Spin the spinner to determine how one of your factors will change.
5. Multiply one of the digits by what is on the spinner. It will be either X10 or X100.
6. Rewrite the equation using your new factor the column for the appropriate power.
7. Repeat steps 1-6 until the table is complete.

Can you go back and fill in the missing parts of the table using the patterns you see happening in
each column?
