MEASURING YOUR TROUT
Please ensure that you use the following method to measure your trout and please use a ruler or tape.
The length of the trout is the single most important peice of information that we require for this
research. Your contribution, by accurately recording your trout’s length, will improve the worth of
the research, ultimately benefiting your sport.
Measure the trout from the fork of the tail, to the tip of the head, as shown below. The tag position is indicated by the arrow;
