Discussion questions: Answers will be written as an essay (5 paragraphs minimum)
and turned in for a grade.
1. Discuss the daily life of royalty during the Middle Ages.
2. Would you like to live in a castle? What are some of the advantages and disadvantages
of living in a castle? Compare castles with modern homes. Describe the “defense”
features of the modern home.
3. Discuss how you could improve on the castle using modern technology. How would
you improve its defense systems? How would you improve its basic comfort and
convenience level?
