Departure for the town of Mir (60 km). Short sightseeing tour of Mir
including the 16th cent. Castle of Mir – a unique example of architecture of
this period with features of the late Belarusian Gothic. In the 16th cent. the
castle was rebuilt into the style of Renaissance and was one of the biggest
castle-fortress of the Eastern Europe
Departure for the town of Novogrudok (founded 1044) (54 km), once the
first capital of the Grand Duchy Of Lithuania (the mighty state existing in the
13th-18th cent.). Tour of Novogrudok, including the ruins of the Fortress Of
Novogrudok – an ancient monument of Belarusian defensive architecture of
the 14th – 15th cent., the Church of Sts. Boris a nd Gleb (the 16th – 19th
cent.), the Franciscan Catholic Monastery (the 18th cent.), the Catholic
Church Of St. Michael (the 18th – 19th cents.), the Farny Catholic Church
(the 18th cent.) and places connected with life of Adam Mitskevich, a great
Polish poet having Belarusian roots

Sightseeing tour of Grodno (founded 1128) situated 300 km West of Minsk
on the border with Poland; the city today ranks number one among old
Belarusian cities in its authentic planning and the 12th – 16th cent. churches,
numerous the 17th – 18th cent. religious and public buildings such as the
Renaissance Bernadine Church and Monastery (the 16th – 18th cent.), The
12th Cent. Wooden Church Of Ss. Boris And Gleb, The Old Castle (the 14th
cent.), The New Castle (1737 – Rococo Style.) Visit to the Historical
Architectural Reserve Not later than 3 p.m.
departure for Brest (250 km). On the way to Brest – a short stop in a small
town of Kamenets to get acquainted with the “Belaya Vezha” Tower (“White
Tower”) – the unique example of the Belarusian defensive architecture of the
13th cent.

Saved Values“ where confiscated objects such as old icons, paintings, coins

Sightseeing tour of Pinsk (first mentioned 1097). The city is famous for the
abundance of architectural, historic and cultural monuments among which are
the 16th – 18th cent. St. Francis Catholic Church and Monastery, the 17th
cent. Jesuit Collegiums, the 18th cent. KARL Baromey Catholic Church, the
18th cent. St. Barbara Church – the unique monument of Baroque
architecture. A Synagogue has been restored Departure for the town of

Sightseeing tour of Slonim (1252), including a visit to The Catholic Church
Of St. Andrew (1775), The Bernadine Monastery (the 17th cent.), The
Bernadine Cloister (the 18th cent.), The Old Town Hall Building (the 18th
cent.). Slonim is known as a typical old Belarusian town where Jewish
population prevailed before WW II (75%), there is a 17th century Synagogue
– the only Synagogue in Belarus where the entire interior is preserved, a
19th century Synagogue, 18th – 19th centuries Jewish housing areas; a
Jewish cemetery has been restored in the town
The Zhirovitchy Monastery Tour (10 km from Slonim). It is known since
the 15th cent. as a place for orthodox pilgrims
Visit to the Monastery: Holy Monastery Assumption (17th cent.), the
Convent Of The Nativity Of The Virgin, The Theological Seminary
