Students must be 16 years of age. 16 and 17 year old course participants must have parental
permission.

Wilderness Medical Associates® WFR certification*, valid for 3 years.
$375 total cost of WAFA Course
Full Payment or Deposit of $250 is due July 2nd. Any enrollment post July 2nd will be charged a $25
late enrollment fee.
Students completing both the WAFA and WFR Bridge courses to receive a full WFR certification
total cost is $750 (Deposit for both courses is $500)

Tuition and Cancellation/Refund Policies
TrekNorth Cancellation/Refund policies are based on our investment in staff, training, course planning, equipment
purchases, and food & lodging. We cannot recover our expenses from cancellations. Please closely read the following
Tuition and Cancellation/Refund policies.
Tuition Policy
Payment is to be made by check or money order, payable to “TrekNorth”. Please do not mail cash. A deposit of $250 is
required to reserve space on all courses. Full payment is due by the first day of the course.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
If you decide to cancel your reservation, no refund will be made unless you are able to find another person to fill your
space. If you do not attend the course for any reason, your tuition will be forfeited.
Note that attendance standards are stringent, 100% participation is required to be eligible for certification. If, due to
tardiness or absence, you become ineligible for certification, there will be no refunds.
In the unlikely event that TrekNorth and/or WMA cancels your course, you will receive a full refund.
Confirmation
When your registration is received and confirmed by TrekNorth, you will receive a confirmation packet by email with
course information (what-to-bring, schedule, directions, etc.)
