HOYS MINIATURE HORSE CLASSES

These classes are affiliated to the British Miniature Horse Society (BMHS), all classes
will be run under their rules. Only horses owned by a BMHS member may enter.
Owners, exhibitors and handlers must be current members and have paid the
appropriate BMHS 2008 Showing Levy. Horses to report for measuring half an hour
prior to classes.
Classes X, Y & Z ARE QUALIFIERS FOR THE HORSE OF THE YEAR SHOW 2008.
The first prize winner not already qualified to third place only from Classes X,Y & Z will
qualify for the Horse of the Year Show 2008.
CLASS X
HORSE OF THE YEAR SHOW 2008 Miniature Horse, 3 years and over
Registered Stallions.
4 Year olds not to exceed 87 cms.
3 Year olds not to exceed 86 cms.
CLASS Y
HORSE OF THE YEAR SHOW 2008 Miniature Horse, 3 years and over
Registered Mares and Geldings.
4 Year olds not to exceed 87 cms.
3 Year olds not to exceed 86 cms.
CLASS Z
HORSE OF THE YEAR SHOW 2008 Miniature Horse, Young stock 1 and
2 year olds Colts, Fillies and Geldings.
2 Year olds not to exceed 84 cms.
Yearlings not to exceed 82 cms.
Championship
First and second prize-winners from classes X, Y&Z qualify to compete for Championship A.
Champion to go forward to the Whiteside & Knowles In Hand Championship Final.
The winner qualifies for the Supreme Champion of Champions class at the BMHS
International Breed Show on the 30th August 2008.
