Voice of the Listener & Viewer (VLV) is an independent, non-profit-making association
representing the citizen and consumer interests in broadcasting. VLV speaks for listeners and
viewers on the full range of broadcasting issues. VLV has no political, commercial or sectarian
affiliations and is funded by it’s members. VLV is concerned with the issues, funding,
institutions and regulation that underpin the British broadcasting system, especially the
principles of public service broadcasting. VLV does not handle complaints.
VLV holds public conferences throughout the UK. Its interests include children’s and
educational broadcasting. VLV produces a quarterly newsletter and briefings on broadcasting
developments.
