Following successfully organizing eight times US - China RAQM
conferences and two times ABaCAS conferences, the 9th Regional Air
Quality Management Conference and Third Air Benefit and Cost and
Attainment Assessment Conference (9th RAQM & ABaCAS 2015) will
be held on 23-25 June 2015 in Guangzhou, China. This conference is
hosted by the Ministry of Environmental Protection of China, United
States Environmental Protection Agency, and co-organized by South
China University of Technology, Tsinghua University, University of
Tennessee and Zhejiang University with the support from Energy
Foundation (U.S). The Conference aims at providing a high-level
platform for air quality scientists and policy makers from various
disciplines to exchange ideas and views on key leading issues related to
environment and energy in China, Asia, and all over the world. In
addition to the two-day conference (June 23-24), a one-day training

workshop (June 25) on the “Air Benefit and Cost and Attainment
Assessment System (ABaCAS) will also be provided to air quality
managers and scientists of interest with demo and hands-on sessions on
cutting-edge air quality management and assessment tools.

ABaCAS Training Workshop:
The ABaCAS training workshop is hosted on 25, June. Please
download the “ABaCAS 1.4 Setup.exe”, “ABaCAS Data.zip” and “RSM
Data.zip” from the website www.abacas-dss.com, and install the software
package to the laptop in advance as suggested by the website. The five
individual tools of ABaCAS-SE, BenMAP-CE, SMAT-CE, RSM-VAT
and CoST-CE will appear in the integrated GUI after installed
successfully.
Those interested should have registered at our conference website.
The training workshop will be conducted in Chinese, but the presentation
slides in English will be provided.
Conference Registration:
The confirmed registration includes full access to all conference
sessions and lectures, conference materials, meals during conference, as
well as coffee breaks. The on-line registration on conference web-site
(http://abacas-dss.com/Conference2015/) has been closed. The registered
members should reply the confirm email sent by the Conference Affairs
Secretariat Group to get the ticket/permission.
