Not only Victor Frankenstein but also Henry Clerval played miniature golf in the
Alps frequently, and Victor usually brought an extremely ostentatious trophy and a
beaming countenance home to his proud papa. One day, however, the young
Frankenstein could not find his inimitable putting stroke and became increasingly angry
during the round. After each of his misses, he exclaimed, “Gosh darnit! My
destiny seems immutable today. My GRANDMOTHER is a better miniature golfer than I
am! Never has there been a more wretched golfer in all of the years of the S.M.G.F.
(Swiss Mini Golf Federation). I think I will return home, read a few books about galvanism, lie down, and then eat some Fig Newtons, because I’ve had it.”
Henry responded to his exceptionally desperate friend, “Victor, you seem
amazingly self-absorbed today. I have never seen you so forlorn. Remember the days
when we used to enjoy mini golf, and we’d have a celebratory milkshake at the ice cream
stand? Hey, why don’t you either appreciate the sublime scenery or forget about the fact
that your grandmother is a better putter than you.”
Victor, unmoved by his friend’s kind attempt to ameliorate his pathetic condition,
placed the woolen cover on the head of his putter and walked into the dangerously deep
woods.

Not only Victor Frankenstein but also Henry Clerval played miniature golf
in the Alps frequently, and Victor usually brought an extremely ostentatious trophy
and a beaming countenance home to his proud papa. One day, however, the young
Frankenstein could not find his inimitable putting stroke and became increasingly
angry during the round. After each of his misses, he exclaimed, “Gosh darnit! My
destiny seems immutable today. My GRANDMOTHER is a better miniature golfer
than I am! Never has there been a more wretched golfer in all the years of the
S.M.G.F. (Swiss Mini Golf Federation). I think I will return home, read a few books
about galvanism, lie down, and then eat some Fig Newtons, because I’ve had it.”
Henry responded to his exceptionally desperate friend, “Victor, you seem
amazingly self-absorbed today. I have never seen you so forlorn. Remember the
days when we used to enjoy mini golf, and we’d have a celebratory milkshake at the
ice cream stand? Hey, why don’t you either appreciate the sublime scenery or forget
about the fact that your grandmother is a better putter than you.”
Victor, unmoved by his friend’s kind attempt to ameliorate his pathetic
condition, placed the woolen cover on the head of his putter and walked into the
exceptionally deep woods.

Not only Victor Frankenstein but also Henry Clerval played miniature golf
in the Alps frequently, and Victor usually brought an extremely ostentatious trophy
and a beaming countenance home to his proud papa.
One day, however, the young Frankenstein could not find his inimitable
putting stroke and became increasingly angry during the round. After each of his
misses, he exclaimed, “Gosh darnit! My destiny seems immutable today. My
GRANDMOTHER is a better miniature golfer than I am! Never has there been a
more wretched golfer in all the years of the S.M.G.F. (Swiss Mini Golf Federation). I
think I will return home, read a few books about galvanism, lie down, and then eat
some Fig Newtons, because I’ve had it.”
