Carol’s accomplishments are too many to mention here but in 2008 she is
exhibited at The Quilted Surface Exhibition at the Columbus Museum of
Art, Ross Wing, Columbus, Ohio and Art in Stitches, Memorial Gallery,
Rochester, New York. Carol is also participating in the SAQA:
Transformations 2007 in Birmingham England plus the traveling show
for 1 year. Her entry, The Matrix, is spectacular as you can see below!
Carol is a member of SAQA! www.saqa.com if any of you would like to join a
great organization that supports quilt artist this is a wonderful group.
Carol is will be teaching “Circles: Pieced, Fused and Quilted”. Have
you always admired those pieced circles? You can do them with ease and
even without pinning. Create a small unique quilt of your own while
learning to piece circles and some unusual strips sets, and do Carol’s
trademark circular quilting to complete the look.
Quilt to your hearts content and plan on taking some walks through the
beautiful grounds of our amazing retreat center. We will enjoy some
delicious meals, great snacks and drinks as we quilt, and several nights out
enjoying some local cuisine, visiting a wonderful quilt store and enjoying
some late night sewing…
