GUIDANCE
*Attention Seniors! If you would like your college application transcript
and recommendations processed and sent before the Christmas break please
have your Transcript Request Form handed in to the Guidance Office by December 5th.
You are reminded to first apply to the college before requesting a transcript sent. Over 45%
of the senior class has applied.
*College Financial Aid Night is Thursday, December 4th at 7:00PM here at Roman. Find out
how to pay for college. Parents and students strongly encouraged to attend!
*This is a reminder that Penn State University's Priority Application Deadline of November
30th is quickly approaching.
-Students can still be admitted to campuses, like Penn State Abington, after this date
but the admission to University Park is virtually next to impossible after November
30th. ALL application materials must be received by November 30th-- thus if you
are in the midst of applying please have your SAT/ACTs sent to us from the testing
service now.
-If you are interested in Penn State Abington, and have not already submitted an
application, if you visit the campus they will waive the $50 application fee. All
students admitted to Abington are automatically reviewed to see if they will qualify
for any of their multiple merit based scholarships. They stack scholarships for
qualified students and many of their scholarships are renewable for 2 to 4 years!
