It is my pleasure to invite you to the Law Lecture Series organized by the Department of
Law, Dhaka International University on 10 September 2015, Thursday, at 10.00 am.
Professor Dr. Md. Ziaur Rahman, Chairperson of Criminology, University of Dhaka, has
given his kind consent to grace the occasion as Chief Guest of the First session of this lecture
series. And also Dr. Shahnaz Huda, Professor, Faculty of Law, University of Dhaka has given
her kind consent to grace the occasion as Chief Guest of the second session of this lecture
series.
In the first session Associate Prof. Quazi MH Supan has consented to deliver a lecture on
Forensics and Scientific Evidence: Relevancy and Admissibility and in the second session
Associate Professor Dr. Md. Ekramul Huq, , Department of Law, University of Dhaka, has
consented to deliver a lecture on Muslim Law of Inheritance: Principles and Application.
We are also glad to inform you that welcome speech will be given by Barrister Shameem
Haider Patwary, Honorable Vice Chairman, Board of Trustees, DIU and concluding speech
will be given by Dr. S Quadir Patwari, Honorable Chairman, Board of Trustees, DIU. The
