Fall Poster Session Information
The BWH Biomedical Research Institute's Center for
Human Genetics cordially invites all BWH
researchers and clinicians working in the areas of
basic, clinical, translational, population, genomic,
computational/bioinformatics, epigenetic, ethics,
epidemiology, imaging, high throughput screening
and all other areas of genetics related research to
participate in its hospital wide competitive poster
session with the goal of bringing together
investigators working across the full spectrum of
genetics and genomics at BWH and fostering
innovative collaborative approaches to disease
mechanism and pharmacogenetics.
Up to $1000 per winner will be awarded!!
Abstract submission deadline is Mon, Sept 17th.

ELIGIBILITY
1. Open to ALL areas of genetics related research. Up to $1000 per winner! Deadline:
Mon, Sept 17.
2. Participation and eligibility will be limited to the first 75 qualified applicants and
accepted on a first come, first served basis.
3. Presenting author must have a Brigham affiliation and have an academic rank of
Instructor or below.
4. Submitting author must be in attendance at the poster session to present their poster.
No proxies!
5. An author may only present one poster.
6. Posters MUST be 4’x4’ or smaller in size – anything larger most likely cannot be
accommodated. BWH Print House is currently running a deal for poster printing - $50
per poster of dimensions up to 48 inches X 48 inches. Contact 617.732.5699 or

7. Abstracts longer than 200 words will be truncated for event program.
8. All applications must be complete and sent via e-mail as an attachment to
bwhbri@partners.org
9. Please note that our judging committee will determine award winners prior to the
poster session on Sep 24, 2012 based on the abstracts submitted.
