Course Description:
This course will be a survey of interpersonal/cross-cultural communication topics, research
and contexts of communicative practice; overview of communication from both humanities
and social science perspectives. Topics include communication styles, skills, and methods
of interpersonal communication competency.
Tentative Format:

Course Objectives:
1. To appreciate the role communication plays in one's personal, social, and
professional life
2. To improve interpersonal communication skills
3. To effectively use and evaluate elements of various kinds of communication
