APPENDIX TO EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT

Information about conditions of employment according to 6 a § law (1982:80) regarding the Employment Protection
Act (LAS)
Termination of employment for a permanent position
From the employee’s initiative
 Position that has been at the most 1 year: 1 month
 Position that has been more than 1 year: 2 months
 Position with authority: 6 months
From the employer’s initiative
Termination of employment from the employer´s initiative shall be on grounds of fact according to existing laws and agreements.
The termination conditions are depending on the period of employment.
Termination of temporary employment
 The position’s final date is stated in the employment agreement. The position ceases on that day without involving further
specific decisions
 In case the position has been termed as permanent, but at the most up to and including a specific date and the termination
 is initiated by the employee or employer before that date, the termination conditions above apply

Working hours
 For full-time employees one work week is 39 hours 45 minutes.
 For full-time teachers working hours include 1700 hours for employees with 35 vacation days, 1732 hours with 31 vacation
days, and 1756 hours with 28 vacation days.
