I The origin
2011 China • Wuhu the first "Liu Kaiqu Award " International Sculpture
Exhibition is a international sculpture event sponsored by China sculpture
institute , the China Academy of Arts and the Wuhu municipal people’s
government. This competition establishes "Liu Kaiqu Award" named after Mr.
Liu Kaiqu is in memorial of Liu’s immortal achievement, highlight his
enterprising and innovative academic attitudes, promote Liu’s lifelong human
spirit for the country and the people, support and encourage the artists to
continue and prosper, and also to practice Liu’s lofty idea of mixing western
culture and Chinese culture, lead Chinese art to the world, vigorously promote
international cultural exchange and bring positive effects to the development
of world art and culture.
This competition from today, using the combined methods of public solicitation
and special invitation, globally open call for art works,

1, Awards and Selection
The organizing committee will employ famous experts and scholars to
establish an art commission, each award will be selected and reviewed

by the international jury constituted by both 2011 China • Wuhu the first "Liu
Kaiqu Award " International Sculpture Exhibition organizing committee and the
art commission. The final prize-winner will be selected from the preliminary
evaluation and the invitation works according to the principles of fairness,
justice and open, in strict accordance with the formulation of selection
standards and procedures, review,
Through various media publishing the information, releasing the winning
entries list, 2011 China • Wuhu the first "Liu Kaiqu Award " International

Sculpture Exhibition
All winning entries will be selected for 2011 China • Wuhu the first "Liu
Kaiqu Award " International Sculpture Exhibition. Achieve environmental
landscape sculpture exhibition program 60 (China 50 International 10). All
the works selected for exhibition will be collected by the Wuhu municipal
government.
Opening: October 1, 2011

China • Wuhu the first "Liu Kaiqu Award " International Sculpture
Exhibition works ". which will be presented to each selected artist.
V. Required
1, Form
Art work must be environmental landscape sculpture.
2, Scope
Whoever agrees the themes and tenet of this exhibition, with the creation
ability, all the domestic and foreign sculpture artists can register to attend, not
country, nationality, age, sex. Domestic and international professional art
organizations and groups also can with the name of group organization for
registration.
3, Requirements
Entry work has to be not established in the public environment and originally
created by the artist; All works of intellectual property rights owned. Creative
concept innovation, unique also have to form beautiful, artistic and can be
integrated into the environment in Wuhu City. With enforceability, Security
and permanence.

4, Assembly rules
(1) Every artist should submit a photo of author and 1-3 pictures of work. Fill
out a registration form formulated by the Organizing Committee which could
be downloaded from www.csin. org.cn . Artists must send all the materials to
the 2011 China • Wuhu the first "Liu Kaiqu Award " International Sculpture
Exhibition Art Commission Office by March 1, 2011(according to the local
postmark date on the envolope). Late mail will not be accepted. Materials also
can be submitted through the Art Commission E-mail:

(2) With the registration form please attach three passport photos (1. Save 2.
Exhibition card 3. Conference certificate) and color photos of the work, CDs
or slides. Photos for the sculture should be shot from 3 different perspectives.
On the back of photos should indicate: author, title, size, material and special
precautions. The works needs to be installed should attach a clear instruction
(resolution of the image should be more than 300DPI).Please fill out the
form clearly, not omissions, foreigner please fill in English. Reclaim all the
candidates on file, please retention papers.
(3) March 1, 2011 - 3, 15 March, the Art Commission select works.
(4) March 16, 2011, Selection results announced in official web . Art
Commission will send letters and contract to selected entries, specifying the
responsibilities, rights and obligations of both sides.
(5) Before May 1, 2011, the selected artists should send back the contract
with the signature with a 3d sketch of the final work about 50 centimeters and
sent to Exhibition Organizing Committee. Non-realistic works will be selected,
inlarged and produced by the Art Commission; realistic works after the
selection by the Art Commission, authors are responsible for amplification and
submit the final fiberglass or plaster original full-scale work to the Art
Commission before July 1, 2011. Art Commission will uniform manufacture.

VI, Intellectual property protection:
(1) Declaration of the project participants shall not infringe any third party's
patent, copyright, trademark, defamation or any other legal rights.
(2) Participants reported any items contained in the text, images, graphics,
audio or video information are protected by copyright, trademark and other
proprietary rights of legal protection, without the participants consent
information shall not be published or broadcast.
(3) Exhibition organizers have the right to work on the Exhibition of entries for
the publication, distribution and authorize the public use of Wuhu government.
