What is a Discipleship Walk?
The Discipleship Walk is a three-day weekend (no hiking involved) designed to give followers
of Jesus an opportunity to take a break from regular routines and experience the love of God in a
new and fresh way. It is the goal of the Discipleship Walk to lead each person into a growing
relationship with Christ where they will become more intentional and mature in their faith, so
that each can make a difference for Christ in his or her world.
What happens on the weekend?
The weekend includes a series of talks, truth conversations, music, and lots of food, fun, and
fellowship. It has been described as a “short course in discipleship” with the main focus on
what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. This falls under the Chapel’s “GROW” purpose.
This weekend represents the heart of our churches second purpose, “Grow”. Many feel that this
weekend experience has renewed and reenergized their walk with the Lord.
When can I go?
The weekends run from Thursday night (beginning at 5:30 pm with a send off dinner) through
Sunday, returning to Fort Wayne mid-afternoon. We ask that if you attend a walk, that you
commit to the entire weekend.

Men’s: February 18-21st, 2016
Women’s: February 25-28th, 2016
Early Bird Pricing Special for Disciples…
Now through October 31st:
 Half off for an individual ($75.00)
 Couples attending together will receive one full registration at no cost, paying for one
weekend. ($150.00)
November 1st – January 31st:
 25% off full registration price for an individual
 Couples can register one person at full price and get the second half-off.
February 1st- DW weekends- full price- $150.
The fee includes all meals and lodging. You can pay in full or pay $75 to reserve your spot and
any remaining $ will be due three weeks before the walk weekend. There are partial scholarship
funds available on a need basis. We do not want money to stand in the way if a person desires to
attend the Discipleship Walk.

The total cost for the weekend is $150. When the registrar receives this form along with a
