OBITUARY
“To His own the Saviour giveth
Daily strength!
To each troubled soul that liveth
Peace at length!
Know His love in full completeness,
Fills the measure of they weakness;
Ask Him not then, ‘Why? Or How?’
Trust Him now!”
We are assured that death is but a door into something infinitely better. Thus in the early
hour of October 24th, 1927, Sarah Amelia Huber slipped away to be forever with her
Lord. She was born at Sandusky, Ohio, on March 6, 1855, and lived to the age of 72
years, 7 months and 18 days.
Her father and mother were Andy and Lydia Swiekard, and two children came to bless
this home. When she was but a few months old her father passed away.
In 1858 her mother was united in marriage to Daniel Faust and to this union were born
six children. January 9. 1878, Sarah Amelia, better known as Hattie, was married to
George Huber, they lived happily together for 48 years. On October 4, 1923, Brother
Huber passed over, leaving Sister Huber to brave this world alone.
During the past few months Sister Huber has been in failing health, yet her passing was a
surprise and a shock to the whole community.
She leaves to mourn her departure, two sisters, Mrs. Kernie Robinson of Burr Oak, Mich
, Mr,. Alvia Royer of Bronson, Mich. Also two brothers, Daniel Fuast of Mongo and

Mongo; Melvin Faust, Burr Oak; Elizabeth Huber, Elida, Ohio; Barbara Bixler,

the end. Funeral services were conducted from the M. E. Church, Wednesday afternoon
