Glasgow Communities is committed to the fulfilment of the Glasgow 2014 Legacy
vision by supporting Glasgow’s citizens to engage in and benefit from the Games.
Glasgow Communities will work through the Area Legacy Engagement Groups
(ALEG) to promote the Commonwealth Games 2014 at a local level to increase and
widen community participation.
GCC Ticket Allocation
As part of this commitment to inclusion, Glasgow Communities intends to work with
its partners to distribute Commonwealth Games 2014 tickets to nominated groups
and individuals across the city. This is your opportunity to nominate individuals to
receive an allocation of GCC Tickets.
Instructions
Please complete this form fully.
 You can nominate one young person or adult living in Glasgow.
 All individuals nominated on this form must meet the same criteria (with the
exception of chaperones/staff who accompany under16 individuals).
 Separate Nomination Forms must be completed where individuals/groups
meet different criteria.
 Provide details for every person nominated and chaperoning staff.
 Indicate the events/sessions your nominees are available to attend.
Please note however, Glasgow Life cannot guarantee tickets for any specific session
or sport. If successful you will be notified regarding details of tickets awarded to your
nominees and asked to confirm acceptance.
Conditions of Allocation of Tickets for Inclusion

20 tickets are available for individuals who live in the North West of Glasgow and
who have demonstrated Achievement, Activism, Commitment to Volunteering or
Community Contribution
2 To be eligible, every individual nominated must meet the essential criteria (page 2).
3 Successful nominees will be offered a ticket and invited to attend event as a group,
along with other recipients of Achievement tickets. Where a ticket is awarded to an
under 16 or a vulnerable person, a second ticket will be allocated to enable them to
be accompanied by a friend or family member. The chaperone or accompanying
friend or family member should be listed (page 3) so they can be allocated a ticket.
4 Contact information must be provided for every individual nominated.
5 Staff of GCC, Glasgow Life, other ALEOs or ALEG Partner organisations cannot be
allocated tickets unless they are required to genuinely accompany/chaperone an
individual who has been awarded a ticket.
7 Details and contact information must be provided for every individual nominated.
8 Individuals cannot self nominate. Nominations must be supported by an ALEG
partner.
9 All ticket recipients will be required to complete an evaluation form to demonstrate
impact/outcome of attending the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
