Design, Supply, Install, Implement, Train and Provide
Support Services for an Infrastructure Solution
This tender / is published by NEPCO as the first phase to renovate its IT
infrastructure, services, applications and related equipment. This phase/tender is the
cornerstone for subsequent transformations, and it is mainly concern with replacing
and updating outdated network devices, servers, operating system and technologies,
and to resolve the single point-of-failure problem for network and services
infrastructure.
Invitation to tender is intended to prequalified bidders who should deliver, design,
install, re-architect , configure, operate, support and integrate their proposed solutions
based on NEPCO orientations and in accordance to its IT requirements and
specifications. All mentioned above apply to each of the following items that should
be enclosed in the candidate bidders offers:
1-Core switches
Two redundant sets providing Active/Active functionality to aggregate all network
parts(Edge, WAN and Servers) and to meet modern datacenters requirements
regarding virtualization, high performance, converged networks and disaster recovery
needs.
2-Wireless solution
Centrally managed ,resilient, secured and high performance solution, consisting of
wireless controller/s and access points delivering all converged networks aspects,
roaming capabilities and BYOD needs.
3-Servers
high performance ,expandable and comply with modern datacenter requirements
servers are needed to adopt demanding and high available implementation of network
infrastructure services at NEPCO's Headquarter and branch offices within flexible
virtual environment.
4-Virtualization solution
supply, design, install, and configure hardware and software virtualized environment
to provide fault tolerant processing power to the main enterprise IT services (AD,
DHCP, DNS, SUS, File, CA, Kaspersky and Exchange).Virtualization solution should
be coupled with comprehensive management tool .It also must be compatible with
multivendor virtualization environment and Vmotion requirements.
