SPECIFICATIONS
It is the intent of these specifications to describe the purchase of Electric Golf Carts with
Windshield, Canopy top, Batteries, Chargers, Club Protectors and Guarantee meeting the
following specifications.
QUANTITY:
up to twelve (12)
Price per cart will determine quantity of carts purchased.
The Town reserves the right to purchase more or less of the
quantity indicated.

The Town of Colonie is willing to look at the purchase of NEW 2009, USED 2007, 2008
DEMONSTRATERS and or any combination of the above to complete the order. Please
indicate cost in each area.
The Town of Colonie shall trade-in up to twelve (12) used Club Car Electric Golf Carts
(2000 and 2001- 48 volt carts) with roofs and windshields. The trade-in number will be
commensurate with the number of carts the Town of Colonie decides to purchase. The
above carts can be viewed at the Town of Colonie Golf Course, 418 Consaul Road,
Schenectady, NY 12304. Please call John Risler at 518-456-1350 to make an appointment
to view same.
GENERAL INFORMATION
If you have any questions, please call Parks and Recreation Department at 783-2760.
The Town of Colonie is standardized with Club Car, Inc. golf carts, per Town Board
resolution dated December 6, 1990.
Time of delivery shall be stated on proposal, this being a vital factor in awarding of bid.
Time of delivery shall be vital in the awarding of this bid.
The right is reserved to purchase more or less of the estimated quantity for this item.
Non-Appropriation Clause - Not withstanding anything contained in this bid to the
contrary, the Town of Colonie shall not be deemed in default under the bid in the event no
funds or insufficient funds are appropriated and budgeted for or are otherwise unavailable
by any means whatsoever in any fiscal period for the implementation of this bid. The
Town of Colonie will immediately notify the Bidder of such occurrence and this bid shall
terminate on the last day of the fiscal period for which appropriations were received as to
the portions of expenditures herein agreed upon for which funds shall have been
appropriated and budgeted or are otherwise available.
PRICE BID shall be F. O. B. destination - Town of Colonie Golf Course, 418 Consaul
Road, Schenectady, NY 12304. The Town of Colonie is exempt from all taxes.
The AWARD shall be based on the price of the total quantity chosen by the Town less
TOTAL TRADE-IN PRICE.
The General Services Director reserves the right to reject any/all bids and in the case where
two or more responsible bidders submit identical bids he reserves the right to award the
contract to any of such bidders, pursuant to SECTION 103d of the General Municipal
Law.

SEALED BIDS shall be plainly marked ”BID ON ELECTRIC GOLF CARTS", and
submitted to the Purchasing Department, Memorial Town Hall, PO Box 508, 534 Loudon
Road, Newtonville, NY 12128. Any bid not so marked automatically becomes VOID.
Bidder shall sign the attached Non-Collusion form.
Any deviations from these specifications if fully explained in a bid letter shall receive full
consideration if to the best interests of the using agency.
The above shall be completely serviced and ready for operation on delivery.
